Lively Run Goat Dairy is open for farm purchases and tours from June 15th through October 30th.

2008 Tour season

HOURS: Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm

Closed Saturday and Sunday

Daily Tour 1:30pm

Individuals or small group (less than ten persons) are welcome for tours without appointments. Tours for individuals/small groups are for per person rates listed below, including a cheese tasting.

Large group tours (more than ten people) are by appointment. Please call (607) 532-4647 for group scheduling and rates.

Tour costs:

Adults - $6.00
Children ages 5 to 16 - $3.00
Under the age of 5 - free

Our cheese and gift store is open from 9am until 5pm daily except Thursday and Sundays.

Fall Festival

October 20th from 10 am -5 pm

Join us for a day of fun! Hayrides, goat milking contest, cheese rolling, cider pressing, vendors, food, kids games tours, puppet show, live music, cheese tasting and sales,
pumpkin carving and more.

Lively Run Goat Dairy is situated in the heart of New York State's Finger Lakes:

Located near the village of Interlaken between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes, the two largest of the Finger Lakes.

Wine and Cheese is produced in the Finger Lakes region and Lively Run Goat Dairy is a proud associate member of the Cayuga Wine Trail.

Traveling from NYS Route 17 (Future Interstate 86), take the Owego Exit, and travel north on NYS Route 96, to Ithaca New York. In Ithaca New York, follow the signs for NYS Route 96 and continue on Route 96 north through the village of Trumansburg. About two miles north of Trumansburg turn left onto County Road 143 west, and travel about three miles to its intersection with County Road 142. Turn right onto 142 and travel about three miles until you see the sign for Lively Run Goat Dairy on your left (west side of the road).

Traveling from the New York State 90 Thruway, take exit 41 south to NYS Route 414, traveling about 20 miles to Ovid. At the flashing light in Ovid turn left and travel south on NYS Route 96 to Interlaken. Go through the village of Interlaken and about 1 mile south of the village bear right onto County Road 142. Travel south on County Road 142 about 1 1/2 miles. You will see the sign at Lively Run Goat Dairy on your right (west side of the road).
